The iconic television talk show, Patito’s Gang, returns next week to millions of viewers through its new home on YouTube, as well as several local and international television networks.
It will be joined by another programme from the same stable, Profiles in Enterprise: From Apprentice to Tycoon, a weekly series making its television debut and celebrating the champions of Igba Boi.
Created in 2000 by Professor Pat Utomi, Patito’s Gang redefined how public conversations could speak truth to power, promote values, and inspire progress. The programme was last broadcast three years ago.
Profiles in Enterprise, co-hosted by Pat Utomi and Emmanuel Emeyonu, a US-based professor of business, brings the stories of apprentice-turned-tycoons such as Cletus Ibeto, Cosmas Maduka, Chike “Chikason” Okafor, Poly Emenike, and others, told in their own words and from their own experiences.
Both programmes will be available on CVL’s YouTube channel and on patutomi.com. They will also air on television stations including TV Noir in the United States, which reaches nearly 30 million Black homes around the world, as well as several Nigerian outlets.
Together, these programmes herald a new dawn for ideas, enterprise, news, and entertainment designed to inspire higher performance and a better understanding of the world around us.
